One of the best defenses against cyber threats is education: knowing what threats are out there and how to protect yourself from them.  Every business should create a plan that can help their employees and themselves. An effective cyber security plan should include the following elements:

-Establishing a clear internet usage plan about what employees can do online.

-Adding restrictions on the types of websites that employees can visit.

-Create guidelines and permissions on what kinds of software they can download.

-Requirements to use passphrases or complex passwords for all devices and accounts.
